Early Childhood Parent Advisory Council (PAC)

The Mahtomedi Early Childhood Parent Advisory Council (PAC) assists in advising the development and planning of the programming we offer through Early Childhood. The Parent Advisory Council consists of caregivers currently participating in the program, local community members, and agency representatives who can offer input and guidance on community needs.   

What does the Parent Advisory Council do?

  • Recommend activities, classes, and services for families with young children

  • Be a springboard for family involvement in the district

  • Sponsor activities such as Open Gym, Field Trips, Vehicle Fair, and more 

  • Raise funds to support program activities

Why should I join the parent advisory council?

  • Parent involvement is key to a child’s educational success
